About Michael G. Meall
A seasoned CPA and financial planner to businesses and individuals, Michael G. Meall's experience spans more than four decades. Over the course of his career, Mike has handled personal and corporate portfolios of several million dollars for clients ranging from individual investors and all types and sizes of businesses, to non-profit entities.
As the former Chief Financial Officer of a steel company headquartered locally, Mike bore ultimate financial responsibility and accountability, including advising and negotiating on all financial matters including asset acquisition and divestiture; representations before the IRS on behalf of the company; as well as negotiations with banks and financial institutions.
For approximately twenty-five years, Mike was a partner in several highly regarded CPA firms, and managed clients including small and closely-held businesses, individuals and non-profit organizations. His practice focus centered on tax savings, portfolio administration and effective financial management in the fields of child day care, retail and wholesale business, and legal and medical professional services. He performed financial audits and reviews; and prepared corporate tax returns and financial statements in compliance with Federal and state tax laws and regulations.
Mike is an experienced financial professional, who is frequently sought out by colleagues and CPA firms for ad hoc assistance when needed.
He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs; he was an ex-officio board member of a major non-profit organization providing child day care services; and he is the Treasurer of the Expired Colonial Exchange Club of Montgomery County. Mike is also a member of the Montco Chamber of Commerce and the Penn-Suburban Chamber of Commerce.
Mike received a B.S. in Accounting from Drexel University, and previously earned a Certificate in Administrative Accountancy from Pierce Junior College.
